WHY COACHING MATTERS

Becoming a NICA coach helps build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities by getting more kids on bikes.

Become part of a community of thousands of passionate and skilled coaches, who are shaping the future by inspiring kids to become lifelong cyclists.

NICA’s robust coach education program equips both new and experienced coaches with the top-notch training and resources needed to lead with confidence and competence on youth mountain bike teams. NICA coaches don’t just create incredible experiences for student-athletes—they help foster vibrant, healthy mountain bike communities. NICA coaches are truly making a difference!

WHY VOLUNTEERING MATTERS

Being a volunteer gives you the chance to be part of the growing middle and high school cycling movement! Our team is always looking for passionate and committed individuals to help with a range of tasks that support and promote our programs during practices and festival weekends.

There are many other ways to help NICA with various events and projects, including calling or mailing campaigns, research, data management, event planning and execution, and more. Some volunteer opportunities can even be done from home!

WHY DONATING MATTERS

Donating is an investment in the future of our youth and the growth of cycling as a sport. Contributions directly help to remove financial barriers, ensuring that every interested young person, regardless of their financial situation, can participate in the program. Donations assist with covering essential expenses such as bikes, safety gear, team uniforms, race entry fees, and travel costs. These funds help create an environment where kids can experience the thrill of competition, develop confidence, and build lifelong skills.

Beyond the practical aspects, your support also enables teams to provide a positive and supportive atmosphere where young athletes can thrive. It fosters teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills while promoting a healthy lifestyle and a deep connection to nature.

Help get more kids on bikes!
