WHO WE ARE
Lake Country Composite (LCC) is a co-ed youth mountain biking team open to students entering grades 6-12. Based in southeast Wisconsin, we are comprised of students from the Kettle Moraine, Hartland Arrowhead and Oconomowoc school districts – as well as Lake Country Lutheran, surrounding private schools and homeschools.
We are a part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League.
OUR SCHEDULE
Practices start in early July with the season lasting until the end of October. Early in the season we concentrate on developing skills, fostering team spirit as well as a life-long love of mountain biking. Later in the season riders have the option to compete in races against athletes from across the state.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League organizes a range of festival weekends and events, allowing athletes to connect and compete with others during the season.
GET INVOLVED
Want to help support the next generation of riders? Get involved by coaching, volunteering at events or donating. Coaches provide valuable guidance and mentorship to young athletes, while volunteers assist with logistics and race support. Donations help cover expenses such as equipment, registration fees, and team uniforms, ensuring that all interested youth have the opportunity to participate.

MEET COACH ERIC HANSEN
Lake Country Lutheran, Oconomowoc & LCC Level 3 Head Coach
COACHING SINCE 2019
I became a coach for LCC starting in 2019 (Head Coach since 2020) in order to share the passion of mountain biking with my oldest son. After only a few practices in the first season, it quickly became apparent how special this composite team was. Although LCC consists of student athletes from Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine, Oconomowoc, Lake Country Lutheran; as well as other private schools, the bond they share is amazing.
We strive to have fun, while making sure the sport is inclusive to all. Empowering our athletes to get out of their comfort zone and try something new, is one greatest rewards as a coach.
